I have prom June 1st, and being a makeup addict had to get some new bits for the occasion! I just want to say that I did not pay for these bits, my parents did. It was a gift for prom/graduating and I am ever so grateful!! My dress is white with plum & pink flowers on it, so the makeup bits I chose are all to go with the dress.
The first thing I picked up was a new mascara. For the past year I have been using travel size mascaras from all sorts of occasions (and mascara obviously goes off after 6 months so I had to use them up!) I have used the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara, which was alright but nothing special, and a MAC mascara which again was alright. If you have read this blog for a while however you will know my all-time favourite mascara is the Benefit Roller Lash and I seriously live by it! I have already started using it and have fallen in love all over again (plus I cannot get over the packaging!)!

Next I picked up a new liquid eyeliner, because personally I love a good ol’ liquid eyeliner! I picked up this one from Urban Decay, and it is a fiery orange red in the colour Fireball which I absolutely love! One thing you should know about me is that I love orange toned eyeshadows and lip colours, hence why I picked up this orangey liner. In the summer and fall time these colours are absolutely perfect!

I am very picky with eyeshadows, I know what I like, and the only eyeshadows I wear are the Urban Decay Naked palettes (I have 2, 3 and the heat palette which are all AMAZING). But I have been wanting to find some more eyeshadows that I like, and have been obsessed with the Too Faced packaging forever. The Peach palette has always looked so beautiful and smelt SO GOOD. However Too Faced ‘s latest palette absolutely blew me away! I find it so difficult to find a palette where I will wear every colour, however there is literally one eyeshadow in this palette I wouldn’t wear, and it is the black eyeshadow. The colours are so gorgeous, and I LOVE my glitter eyeshadows, so this palette was a no brainer! I am also going to do a review on this palette separately so look out for that!

The next two items are from MAC. First I got this lipstick in the colour D For Danger, which is a dark plum, purple, red colour which is absolutely gorgeous! It is a matte, and very pigmented which I love! I cannot wait to wear this one in fall and winter because the colour is absolutely amazing. This one goes so well with my dress and is literally the perfect colour I was looking for!
Lastly I got this lip pencil to line my lips before the lipstick from above in the colour Rebelious. It is a more lighter purple red colour and looks so good with the lipstick. Im also really excited to wear it on its own because the colour is noticeably different from the lipstick which excited me!!

I bought the chocolate gold palette from Debenhmans the other week and i love it so much and i got a little small sample of the roller lash from Benefit the other day and im starting to really like it! Lovely photos x

I really love the color sassy and classy from the palette you got. I also only ever use one palette (the balm – nude) and I am faithful to it ever since I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago. I can say you had some fruitful evening buying all these cosmetics!

Ooh so many goodies! I love Too Faced – I have their peach palette and I use it multiple times a week. This one looks so gorgeous as well, I bet it’s amazing too. And that lipstick is BEAUTIFUL. Cannot wait to see your completed prom look!

I should try this Benefit Roller Lash mascara – I’ve tested so many as well! Lately got one from Clarins which is supposed to enhance the growth – we´ll see! And by the way, I’m also so picky with eyeshadows and it doesn’t get better than Urban Decay, right?! However, I’ve recently bought Cocoa Contour Palette from Too Faced and liked it a lot – so I should give their shadows a try!
