Canada Itinerary

Zoe Ware

My trip back to Canada was jam packed with visiting friends, places, and new experiences. Today I wanted to write about my Canada Itinerary in order to remember the trip to the fullest, and share with you everything I did (I also filmed it here)!

I was in Canada from 17th August till 3rd September, and I definitely achieved more than I thought I would! I also got to see everyone I wanted to visit too. I actually wrote down my entire Canada Itinerary just so I could keep track of everything I was doing!

17th August – Arrived! I arrived at about 9pm EST and stayed up until 1am talking to Issy and Darcy (I was staying with them instead of a hotel!), plus trying to beat the jet lag.

18th-19th August – My first full day in Canada was spent with Sam, I then stayed with her overnight. On the 18th we went swimming at our local outdoor pool and then went for dinner in the evening! On 19th we went shopping at the local mall and I went back to Issy and Darcy’s that evening (we then did 2 room escapes!).

20th-21st August – Overnight boat trip to Kingston! We went on a boat trip around the 1,000 islands in Kingston and stayed at an airbnb that night (where too many Cheetos were consumed, hysterical laughter, and the card game anomia made us all delirious).

22nd August – Today it was just Darcy and myself so we went to the local pool, had marble slab ice cream, and looked around Anthropologie.

23rd August – I was staying with Emily from 23rd-26th, and today we went to a vegan bakery, had cookie ice cream sandwiches, and “healthy” drinks that tasted of pure vinegar (definitely did not finish those).

24th August – Emily and myself went to the big mall where far too much money was spent. In the evening we went to The Works which is a really nice burger place, and then had a walk by the lake.

25th August – We then went to Toronto Islands (my favourite place in the world!) and I had the best day! Emily had never been so I showed her all my favourite places, and it was such a relaxing, warm, summers day.

26th August – Issy, Darcy, and myself went to the local pool again today, had more marble slab ice cream, and even more laughter!

27th August – Today I met up with an old friend, also called Emily, and then went back to (other) Emily’s to meet her boyfriend Jack! There was pizza, laughter, tears, but we all had the best time.

28th August – I finally got to see my dance best friend Veronika! We went swimming in her pool, and went shopping (my bank account is definitely struggling!) in the evening!

29th AugustTattoo day!! After getting my tattoo, we went on a power boat around Toronto Islands, and it was just the perfect day.

30th August – A chill day at Emilys, sunbathing around her pool and swimming.

31st August – Today we went to the outlets for, yes, even more shopping.

1st September – I really wanted to visit out local farm/cafe/shop and it was so lovely! I got my favourite dutch chocolate shortbread and a few presents for Harry.

2nd September – I went back to Emilys and we travelled into Toronto to help her move some stuff into her new apartment!

3rd September – This was my last day in Canada so we went for a long walk, which we use to do all the time. Then we went to the airport, had Freshii, and got on the plane.

I’ve always wanted to visit Canada, it’s one of the top places to visit on my list! Jet lag is always one thing I forget to account for, always takes me at least a week or so to fully settle in so that means once I settle in, I’m already on my way out!

YAY a boat trip! That sounds like so much fun to go around the 1,00 Islands in Kingston, I’d probably never want to leave the boat haha!

Sounds like you had an amazing time!
