This post is a whole mish-mash of my projects and ideas in order to make money this summer. I have a part time job with a standard pay, however over the summer I am travelling and have things planned. So umm.. I won’t be able to work too much. Plus it also depends on my company booking me in for shifts which can be a pain.
Selling Clothes
If you’ve been watching my youtube channel, you’d know I have been going through a journey of birth control, from the pill to the implant. With that, my body has changed a lot, which means not many of my clothes fit anymore. Not even my bras. Ive attempted selling on Depop in the past with no luck whatsoever. It doesn’t help that I have no followers… I tried eBay, but that seems a bit useless for selling clothes these days too.
Well Ive decided instead of having my clothes in a pile on the floor with no new home other than the bin or charity, I would try Depop again, and really try and promote as much as possible. So follow me here!
I am currently selling a lot of clothes, some which were really expensive, and I shed a tear at having to give up. So it would mean the world to me if you could follow me and maybe purchase a piece or two! My shop is available here. I have actually managed to sell a few pieces, and Im so proud of myself for going through all the effort of putting everything up for sale!
Creativity
Now this has simply been a thought on my mind for a while. Probably a rather unrealistic thought, but still, its there. I would really love to be able to sell some of my photography pieces, or art work I have created. If you’ve read this post, you’d know I recently made a clothing rail. I want to do more things like that (though a little more realistic for sending), and try and make some money from it.
Ive also designed patterns and graphics for printing which I learnt through my University course, which I would love to sell somehow. Though I am still figuring out what exactly to create from them! What do you think? Will I be able to make money this summer?
Have you sold your own artwork, and what was your experience like?
wow thanks for sharing! so many great tips!

You should try freelance writing! I work a full-time job, but I freelance write for a little money on the side. You can typically make $15-$50 an article. I find my freelance jobs through https://www.freelancewritinggigs.com/freelance-writing-job-ads/ Good luck!

Oh wow thank you!! Ill definitely look into it!! xx
Yeah, it’s a great way of making money! I wanted to find a job this summer, but I realized I wouldn’t have much time for my hobbies then because I have a lot of other plans for the summer. We’ll see, maybe I’ll find something that would be right for me, but for now, selling my clothes sounds really cool. I would love to buy something you presented, but unfortunately, it’s not my size either ;//
Well, I think that selling books is also a pretty good idea!
