For me, Autumn has to be the best fashion season. Its not so hot you sweat through everything, and its not so cold that you have to cover your whole outfit up. Plus with Autumn brings the oranges, yellows, burgundy and dark green, which to me are the absolute best colours for outfits.
When it comes to Autumn fashion there are a few staple pieces I always need to have, that go with any outfit. So today I thought I would go through what I think is an absolute need this time of year!
Big Jumpers
First up has got to be big, oversized jumpers. The really warm knitted ones are my favourite and something I just cannot live without! Most of my jumpers are mustard yellow, burgundy and cream, however this year I am making it my mission to get an orange knitted jumper as I think they are just so gorgeous. Here are a few I have picked out that I think are just perfect!
Cozy Jackets
Im not talking big puffy jackets that cover your outfit. Im talking stylish jackets that complete your outfit. Personally my fave is a khaki green, I just think it is such a beautiful colour and is so autumnal. Plus it compliments any yellow, burgundy or orange perfectly!
Ankle Boots
I have a serious obsession with ankle boots. I literally own way too many, but I just think they are the most perfect thing for any occasion. Going to the shops? Slip on some ankle boots. Going on a walk? Ankle boots. Going out for dinner? Ankle boots with a heel. There is literally an ankle boot for any occasion. These are some of my all time favourites at the moment!
Beanies
I absolutely love a good beanie. I currently only have one in a dark burgundy colour which I adore, I definitely need to stock up on more beanies tho, just 1 will not do! I feel like they just complete any outfit plus they keep you warm, and if you’re having a bad hair day? Just stick a beanie on it. These are the ones currently on my wishlist.

Adore the photo in this post, they’re so cute and autumnal! I’m a sucker for a pair of ankle boots in the autumn/winter months, they came out of the cupboard for the first time this season last week and the obsession has started again.
